The Voice Of Switzerland

Brazilian sings on The Voice in Switzerland and captivates the judges by singing in Swiss-German. He performed "N°1." by Swiss singer Adrian Stern. Two judges turned their chairs after noticing a slight foreign accent - very similar to the accent of Brazilians who speak German - in Renato Araujo's performance. The pop coach and singer, Marc Sway - who is the son of a Brazilian - and the coach Philipp Fankhauser, a Swiss blues musician and composer, were amazed by the singer. One of the most interesting moments of Renato's performance was when coach Marc Sway asked, "Brazilian?" And, to Renato's surprise, Fankhauser, who also turned his chair, spoke to him in Portuguese. At that moment, both were astonished to realize that the singer understood practically nothing of the language, yet was able to sing perfectly in Swiss dialect! Impressive, isn't it?
